Parents need to provide
transportation; we will also need some of you to STAY with
us.
Youth Ministry is a full time vital part of St. Thomas
Aquinas. The entire parish community is committed to
building the middle and high school programs for our youth.
United in praise and worship, faith sharing, and service
develops their spirituality, gifts, talents and interest.
S.T.A.Y. for Mass @ 11:30 a.m. starts the week.
Activities
St. Thomas Aquinas events such as: retreats, CCE, movies,
lock-ins, bowling, sports tournaments, indoor and outdoor,
fashion shows, fundraisers and service.
Southwest Deanery participations in team sports, middle and
high school work camp with excursions into the Houston
community for service to elderly, homeless shelters, food
pantries, prayer and fun for all. A prayerful Lent
experience that involves the Deanery: St. Albert, St. Justin
Martyr, St. Thomas More, St. Cecilia, St. Francis de Sales,
Notre Dame and Holy Family.
The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston through the Office of
Youth Ministries provides our youth with conferences,
rallies, formation courses in leadership, service and
support.
Mission trip Group Work Camp gives our youth a week
opportunity to travel and work to repair the homes of the
elderly and others in need, sharing the truth of our
Catholic Faith.
Steubenville is a weekend filled with talks, music and
worship, gathered with hundreds of other young Catholics to
essentially get serious about life in Christ, His church and
the truth of the Gospel.
Adult Participation
Is God calling you to volunteer to help with Youth Ministry?
Wonderful spirit-filled, loving, joyful adults are needed as
catechists, coaches, drivers, chaperones, presenters,
retreat team assistance, good listeners, and your presence.
