A Letter from Rev.
Joseph K. Kalladan, Pastor
Sunday Bulletin - December 30,
2007
Dear Parishioner,
Is it not wonderful that the Holy Church of God has
instituted the Solemn Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the
Mother of God, on January First, thereby giving us a great
opportunity to begin a New Year of the Lord with Our Mother
Mary? It is most appropriate to begin a New Year, with all
its uncertainties, together with Mary. It was with Mary’s
“fiat” that initiated a new beginning for humankind with the
arrival of God’s own Son, Jesus. All that Mary did was to
put herself totally and completely in the hands of God to do
whatever He wanted to do for the salvation of men. None of
us are sure what lies ahead of us in the New Year, 2008,
that we are about to begin with all of its uncertainties.
Mary is certainly the absolute model for us, if we too, like
her, put our trust in God, realizing that we are in His
hands.
I would like to wish every one of you, dear parishioners, A
NEW YEAR filled with God’s very special blessings for you
and your dear ones. MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS OUR PARISH TO BE
RENEWED IN CHRIST JESUS, PARTICULARLY AS WE HAVE OUR PARISH
MISSION BEGINNING ON JANUARY 13TH.
Sincerely,
Fr. K.K.
