The St. Thomas Aquinas Music Ministry welcomes all those who would like to share their time and talents by singing or playing an instrument for the church. For interested choir members previous singing experience is not neccesary, but does help. Those interested in sharing their instrumental skills they should have at least 3 years of playing experience on their instrument. The 9:30 am Choir sings every Sunday during the 9:30 am Sunday liturgies. The choir rehearses every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm in the Siena Room.
The 5:00 pm Choir sings normally on the 4th Saturday of every month during the 5:00 pm liturgy. The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 8:00 pm in the Siena Room or Sanctuary.
The Teen Choir (middle school - high school students) sing every Sunday during the 11:30 am liturgies. The choir rehearses every Thursday at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary along with the teen choir instrumentalists.
The Joyful Noise Choir (3rd grade - 7th grade) sing on the 4th Sunday of every month and special masses as well. The young singers rehearse every Tuesday at 5:00 pm in the Siena Room.
Instrumentalists practice on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary or Siena Room. They perform at various services and liturgies.
Cantors have the job to lead the congregation in singing during the litugical celebrations. Rehearsals are open to Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
